Mouse 3 us 0

I am so mad at the mouse right now. No fear, just anger. I saw it dart into our kitchen, then out of our front door (there is a large gap to the hallway) and we trapped it outside our door, I put a glue trap back on the other side of the gap, and he streaked back in and caught his tail in the trap!! We had him! he was a goner! He was squealing, the whole bit. Then he dragged himself and the trap under the stove, got the trap stuck, and got himself unstuck in the process. A chase between two different rooms ensued, and he got away. Jon and I ended up a little sweaty and out for blood. Failure has made us smarter, as we have put traps behind blind corners and in between door gaps he darts through. I think he's hiding in our huge radiator now, and he's unprepared for what he's up against. For once in my life I really wish I had a cat.

you know you are obligated to let me know when your next trip to san francisco is right?!

If it would have been a trap, it would have it's little neck snapped right now. Or if it was dcon, it would have crawled off and died by now. Maybe you should just give it a name, and think of it as a pet. You could even put food out for it!

Sorry, just another comment--a question, really--what are you going to do with it once you've trapped it?

It really depends how it's caught, considering we have two glue traps and two snap traps set up.
